Batman & Robin

An original mask used in the production of Batman & Robin, the 1997 superhero picture directed by Joel Schumacher.

Masks such as this can be seen worn by Mr. Freeze's (Arnold Schwarzenegger) henchmen who do battle with Batman (George Clooney) and Robin (Chris O'Donnell) in the opening sequence of the movie. Constructed from hard plastic the mask features hand cut detail with an elaborate leather strap used to attach it to the wearers head and is finished with weathered silver paint, eye mesh, wire detail and various dents and scrapes to appear battle worn. To the interior the mask is lined with soft material for the wearers comfort and is hand inscribed with the number 8, this exact mask can be screen matched to one worn in the opening sequence.

The mask measures approximately 9" x 6" x 4.5" and remains in excellent screen used condition, overall fine.

A highly displayable artefact from this classic superhero franchise.
