Joe 90

This original concept art was created during the production of Joe 90, the 1968 supermarionation television series created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson of Thunderbirds fame.

This artwork was hand drawn by artist Mike Trim who was assistant to the legendary Derek Meddings on many Anderson series and became a prolific designer responsible for creating many of the futuristic craft and buildings. This beautifully detailed artwork is accomplished in pen on paper which has been attached to thick board and depicts the Nuclear Icebreaker used in the episode Arctic Adventure. The art has 3' 6 written on the bottom, presumably a reference to the size of the miniature.

The artwork is mounted on board and measures approximately 12.5" x 9.5", it remains in excellent condition, it is signed to the verso by Mike Trim.
