Corpse Bride

An original maquette from the the production of Corpse Bride, the 2005 stop motion animation fantasy picture directed by Tim Burton.

This study maquette of Maggot from the Land of the Dead was created during the production by puppet specialists Mackinnon & Saunders who built the characters from the design drawings of Tim Burton and Carlos Grangel. The maquette bears an excellent likeness to the final character and is constructed from resin which is finished in grey primer and presented on a hand made base of MDF.

The maquette stands approximately 6" high and remains in excellent production used condition, the final image shows similar pieces on the workbench at Mackinnon and Saunders during the production.
