Ludo (Ron Mueck) hand mould
An original prop used in the production of Labyrinth, the 1986 fantasy picture starring Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie under the direction of Jim Henson.
Ludo hand mould
This casting was used by Jim Henson Creature Shop during the creation of Ludo's hands, constructed from fibreglass the moulding features the dried remains of a foam latex skin and measures an impressive 13" long, it remains in very good vintage condition with the skin remains hardened and loose, main fibreglass structure very fine.
Goblin head mould
This goblin head casting was used by the production during the creation of the goblin masks. Constructed from fibreglass the moulding features dried remains of a foam latex skin and is hand inscribed 'BUBBLE' to the rear which was the name given by the crew to this particular character who can be seen singing the line "Or puppy dog tails" during the Magic Dance sequence.
Goblin paint test head
Goblin head castings such as this were utilised for paint testing during the creation of the goblin masks, constructed from solid resin the head features a highly detailed sculp with a distinctive nose and is finished in grey primer. The head stands approximately 9" high and remains in very good vintage production made condition
