Description

An original letter from Hammer Film Productions, the noted British production company best known for its horror output.

This letter was written by film producer and Hammer Films founder Sir James Carreras to actress and sex symbol Valerie Leon. The letter is typewritten on Hammer Film Productions LTD headed paper and is dated 28th June, 1971, in the letter Carreras thanks Leon for appearing at a Variety Club of Great Britain event in Manchester this coming just months before the release of Blood from the Mummy's Tomb, the Hammer production in which Leon had a starring Role. The letter is additionally inscribed in Carreras hand and signed by him with a J, an additional note below states that Dickie Henderson though she was fabulous!

The letter measures approximately 11" x 8.5 and remains in very good formally folded condition having been placed in an envelope.
