Thomas and Friends

An original large scale miniature used during the production of the popular children's television series Thomas and Friends.

This is an original head created by the production for the miniature of Bridget Hatt, the granddaughter of Sir Topham and Lady Hatt who has appeared in numerous episodes of this long running series. Constructed by the model department based at Shepperton Studios the head is cast in resin and hand painted to a standard befitting of a large scale close up figure, this represents the largest scale of miniature used to portray the character in the series. The underside of the neck area features a hole where a pin could be inserted to locate the head on to one of Bridget's bodys, it was common on production to simply swap the heads over when a differing facial expression was required thus avoiding the need to have a complete miniature for each.

Bridget's head measures approximately 2" x 1.5" and remains in excellent production used condition with no paint loss or chipping.
