Robin of Sherwood

An original prop used in the production of Robin of Sherwood, the 1980s television series starring Michael Pread and Jason Connery.

Tabards such as this can be seen worn by the King's guard throughout the series, custom made for the production by HTV West costume department the tabard is constructed from thick deep red material and features three lions which are stencil painted in gold.

The costume retains an original HTV label to the interior shoulder and remains in excellent production used condition exhibiting only minor wear and soiling.

A rare example of original wardrobe from this highly regarded adaptation.
