Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

An original invitation for the premiere party of the 1999 science fiction picture The Phantom Menace, the first instalment of the Star Wars prequel trilogy directed by George Lucas.

This is an original invitation to the party which took place following the U.K premiere of the movie in July 1999, this was the personal invitation of Kenny Baker who portrayed R2-D2 throughout the franchise and originated from his estate. The piece is constructed from thin metal and features a die cut Darth Maul to the top with the movie logo, party details and Lucasfilm logo below, 'ADMIT ONE' is etched to the bottom enabling the holder entry to the party.

The invitation measures approximately 3.75" in length and remains in excellent condition with minimal surface wear, overall fine.

A displayable artefact from one of the most influential and highly regarded franchises in cinematic history.
