Blake's 7

An original costume design used in the production of the BBC science fiction television series Blake's 7.

This is the original design created by noted BBC designer June Hudson for the costume worn by Paul Darrow as Avon in the series two episodes Redemption and Killer. Accomplished on artists paper the costume design features a likeness of Avon dressed in a studded black leather jacket and trousers and is annotated in Hudson's hand 'BLAKE'S 7, AVON, PAUL DARROW' with notes below suggesting black leather and silver buttons and signed by the artist to the bottom 'JUNE HUDSON '78'.

The costume design measures an impressive 22" x 15" and is presented framed and glazed with UV resistant glass, the costume design remains in near perfect original condition and the frame similar with minor damage to the right side, otherwise fine.

An exceptionally rare, desirable and highly displayable principal character costume design from this cult science fiction series.
