James Bond: For Your Eyes Only

An original miniature from the production of the 1981 James Bond picture For Your Eyes Only starring Roger Moore as the suave spy.

This head was custom made for the production by the visual effects team headed up by noted miniature effects supervisor Derek Meddings and served as a master model for the head used on the James Bond (Roger Moore) miniature seen in the sequence where he and Melina (Caroline Bouquet) retrieve the ATAC from the wreck of the St Georges. The head is constructed from solid resin and bears an excellent and detailed likeness to Moore, retaining its stem from the mould this is a first generation casting and would have served as a master model during the sculptors process as he refined and cast the miniature heads used on screen.

The head measures approximately 4" and remains in excellent production used condition, very fine. 

A very scare example of and original special effects miniature from one of the most celebrated franchises in cinematic history.
