James and the Giant Peach

A pair of original prints used in the production of James and the Giant Peach, the 1996 fantasy picture produced by Tim Burton and directed by Henry Selick who had previously collaborated on The Nightmare Before Christmas.

These prints were used during the production for scenes where elements were added to various frames using animation, printed on high quality matte paper with punched peg holes they depict differing frames from the movie where further work was required to complete the shot, this animated on a frame by frame basis. In this case the frame of Mr. Centipede required the removal of the rig which is holding the puppet and the one featuring him and Miss Spider the addition of cigar smoke. 

The prints each measure 14" x 11" and remain in near perfect production used condition, extremely fine.

A rare and interesting collection from this well received stop motion picture.
