E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial

A pair of original workprint clips used in the production of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, the 1982 science fiction classic directed by Steven Spielberg.

These 35mm workprint clips show visual effects work filmed by premier effects house Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) and show the miniature ship with one featuring a paper camera slate and the other a matte, these were part of the footage utilised by visual effects editors during post production.

Both clippings remain in excellent vintage condition with expected colour shift.

An affordable example of original production material from this Academy Award winning blockbuster which became the highest grossing picture of all time.
