Doctor Who

An original prop used in the production of the long running science fiction television series Doctor Who.

From the 1984 serial Warriors of the Deep starring Peter Davison as The Doctor this is the original chest armour worn by Silurian leader Icthar (Norman Comer). The chest is one of four built for the serial by Richard Gregory's Imagineering effects house, constructed from moulded fibreglass the armour features a distinctive bone design with straps to the shoulders joining the front and rear sections and holes to the bottom where it can be fastened together.

The armour measures approximately 27" long and 19" wide, it remains in excellent screen used condition with minimal wear, very fine.
