Blake's 7

An original concept artwork used in the production of the BBC science fiction television series Blake's 7.

From the 1978 series one episode Seek-Locate-Destroy this is the original hand drawn concept artwork for the surveillance robot which is seen again in Project Avalon. Created by BBC Visual Effects Department designer Ian Scoones the artwork is accomplished in pen on paper and features a front elevation of the robot with a number of hand inscribed notes beside and the date 'NOV 77' below the artists signature. This is mounted on a sheet of paper with a period newspaper and magazine clipping.

The artwork measures approximately 8" x 8" and remains in good production used and vintage condition.

A rare example of original concept artwork from this cult science fiction series.
