Hammer House of Horror

Original concept artwork used in the production of Hammer House of Horror, the 1980 anthology series produced by Hammer Film Productions.

From the episode The Silent Scream starring Hammer Films legend Peter Cushing as Martin Blueck this lot comprises of two original hand drawn concept artworks created by special effects artist Ian Scoones, one detailing a device used by Blueck and the other a camera set up, both featuring numerous hand inscribed annotations. Accompanied by a vintage original 10" x 8" still showing Peter Cushing as Martin Blueck, these can be seen documented on page 169 of The Hammer Vault book by Marcus Hearn.

The artworks each measure approximately 11.5" x 8", one still stuck to scrapbook page, one removed with evidence to the verso, historical folds to camera diagram, otherwise fine, still remains very good with markings to the verso where tipped to scrapbook.
