Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

An original Hogwarts envelope used in the production of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, the first in a series of eight films based on the novels by J. K Rowling.

Such envelopes are clearly seen early in the film in the scenes where many envelopes fly through the air. Two styles were made for production, hero versions with a real wax stamp and others with a printed stamp which were produced in greater numbers and were more lightweight for them flying around the room. This is the latter, featuring Harry's name and address to the front with Hogwarts school emblem and printed stamp to the verso.

The envelope measures 7.25" x 5.25" and remains in excellent production used condition.
