Moon

An original harvester crane miniature used during the production of Moon, the acclaimed 2009 science fiction drama directed by Duncan Jones and starring Sam Rockwell.

This harvester crane was created by model unit unit supervisor Bill Pearson, originally for the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale and subsequently used on screen on the Sarang base for Moon where it can be seen near the harvester in various shots. Constructed from what appears to be a number of toy parts which have been assembled by Bill, dressed with various detailing and paint weathered to give an industrial and used feel. The decals now on the model miniature were added by Bill post production for possible further use in Red Dwarf series ten.

The crane stands an impressive 9.5" high, 12" deep with the base measuring 6.5" wide and remains in excellent screen used condition. The final image shows this very miniature with the harvester on the model stage at Shepperton Studios.

Presented here directly from the collection of Moon model unit supervisor Bill Pearson, The Prop Gallery COA supplied with the item will also be signed by Bill and accompanied by a high quality 7" x 5" photographic print of him with the item.
