Hand drawn storyboard artwork - T-800
An original storyboard artwork used in the production of The Terminator, the 1984 science fiction action classic starring Arnold Schwarzenegger under the direction of James Cameron.
This original hand drawn storyboard artwork depicts a frame from the climactic sequence as the T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) pursues Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) and Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) in to the factory. This special effects laden sequence required meticulous planning and used a combination of a T-800 upper torso built by Stan Winston Studios and a 1:3 scale stop motion puppet animated by Pete Kleinow at Fantasy II.
The artwork is accomplished in graphite on tracing paper and shows the T-800 headbutting the door as it attempts to gain access, this is framed in red marker, numbered 61, and featuring various hand inscribed annotations relating to sound effects and camera movement.
The artwork measures approximately 11" x 8.25" and remains in very good production used condition with some crinkling.
A rare and highly displayable example of original production material from this critically acclaimed blockbuster and classic of the science fiction genre.
