Avatar

An original conceptual artwork used in the production of Avatar, the 2009 science fiction epic directed by James Cameron.

This concept artwork was created by veteran designer and special effects artist Joey Orosco at noted effects house Stan Winston Studios as he worked as a key designer creating various creature concepts. The artwork is accomplished in pencil on paper and features a detailed drawing of a creature head, this is hand inscribed 'AVATAR' and signed below by artist Joey Orosco.

The artwork measures approximately 13.5 x 11" and remains in excellent production used condition, very fine.

A rare and highly displayable example of original artwork from the production of this highly regarded Academy Award winning masterpiece which on its release became the highest grossing picture in the history of cinema.
