Ghostbusters II

An original prop from the production of Ghostbusters II, the 1989 supernatural comedy sequel directed by Ivan Rietman.

This Star magazine cover was custom made by the production for use in the scene where Peter Venkman (Bill Murray) enters the Manhattan Museum of Art and speaks to Rudy (Walter Flanagan), the guard at the front desk. The magazine cover features the headline 'GHOSTBUSTERS SAVE JUDGE' referencing the courtroom sequence earlier in the movie with a still photograph of Venkman, Stanz and Spengler which is actually a still from the production of the first movie, the rear of the cover features an unrelated water advertisement.

The cover measures approximately 13" x 10" and remains in very good vintage condition with some small pinholes to the top corners and minor surface creasing.

An extremely rare and highly displayable artefact from this classic franchise.
