Visual effects storyboard breakdown
An original document used in the production of Ghost, the 1990 romantic fantasy picture starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore.
This original production used breakdown is dated October 20, 1989 comprises of 82 pin bound pages with a front cover printed with the title 'GHOST VISUAL FX STORYBOARDS'. Each page serves as a breakdown for a specific visual effects shot and is headed 'GHOST' with a storyboard below, the company undertaking the work, a description of the action taking place and any special equipment required such as the use of bluescreen or VistaVision, much of the work documented in these pages having been carried out by premier effects house Industrial Light & Magic. Obtained by The Prop Gallery directly from the collection of executive producer and second unit director Steven-Charles Jaffe.
The document remains in excellent production used condition with minor wear from use and handling, cover holes worn and partially detached, otherwise fine.
A fine production artefact from this highly regarded Academy Award winning production and box office smash which became the highest grossing picture of 1990.
