28 page Dream Ghost storyboard sequence
An original storyboard sequence used in the production of the 1984 science fiction comedy Ghostbusters starring Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd under the direction of Ivan Reitman.
This original production used storyboard set covers the memorable Dream Ghost sequence in which Stantz (Dan Aykroyd) dreams about a beautiful ghost portrayed in the movie by Playboy model Kim Herrin.
The set comprises of 28 green storyboards covering the sequence, each storyboard has special notes relating to the physical and optical effects shots such as rigs for special lighting, smoke and cheating his body position to insert the shot of the belt opening, many of these shots including Herrin on the rig were filmed at Entertainment Effects Group and composited in later. Each board is triple hole punched, marked with the red production security stamp 005, dated September 21 1983 and copyrighted Columbia Pictures Industries.
The storyboard sequence remains in excellent production used condition throughout - very fine.
