Gavin & Stacey

An original clapperboard used in the production of the romantic comedy series Gavin and Stacey created by James Cordon and Ruth Jones.

This production used Panavision clapperboard is constructed from perspex with an affixed wooden clap stick in green and yellow. The board features a fluorescent pink fabric tape which is inscribed "GAVIN AND STACEY II" and bears the name of director Christine Gernon and cameraman Douglas Hallows in marker pen. The board retains writing relating to scene, slate and take numbers and carries a further piece of fluorescent tape to the bottom which is inscribed with the date 'DEC 18.07' from is last use during the production.

The clapperboard measures approximately 11" x 9.5" and remains in excellent condition with some surface wear from use during the production and tape remnants to the verso.

A fine and displayable production artefact from this extremely well received series.
