Doctor Who

An original gun used in the production of the long running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who.

These fun guns were utilised on screen by various cast members in the 1988 serial The Happiness Patrol starring Sylvester McCoy as The Doctor. These impressive guns were designed by visual effects designer Perry Brahan and are constructed from various plastic parts, including a hairdryer handle and toy parts, fiberglass and dressed with other metal details, also present is the original strap. The end of the weapon is a pyrotechnic muzzle which would emit sparks, these pyro devices were the same type as used on the Silver Nemesis Cyberman guns and indeed they were stripped off a number of these guns and reused in Nemesis.

The gun measures a very impressive 31" long and is in fully complete and excellent screen used condition with only very minimal paint loss in areas.

A very colourful and displayable artefact from this classic science fiction series.
