Foxhole in Cairo

An original script used in the production of Foxhole in Cairo, the 1960 British war picture starring James Robertson Justice under the direction of John Llewellyn Moxley.

This original production used script was issued to and used by second assistant director Derek Whitehurst, comprising of 87 pages bound between front and rear covers of green card with the front type written with the title of the movie 'FOXHOLE IN CAIRO' and hand inscribed with Whitehurst's name in pencil. The script features several blue revision pages with crossing and annotations inscribed in Whitehurst's hand throughout. This is accompanied by an extremely detailed 34 page breakdown of various colours with a yellow cover again featuring type written title and Whitehurst's name hand inscribed in pen with annotations throughout.

The script remains in good vintage condition with edge and cover wear, exhibiting toning and rusting to the pins, breakdown similar with final page partially detached.
