Rocky II

An original prop used in the production of Rocky II, the 1979 sequel starring Sylvester Stallone.

Programmes such as this can be seen used by members of the audience in the climatic fight between Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) and Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers). The programme comprises of 16 black and white pages bound between custom printed covers on glossy paper stock with the front featuring the likeness of Balboa and Creed in addition to the date and location of the fight. The interior of the programme features various adverts and information relating to boxing with the centre pages having been custom printed to include a scoring sheet for the fight which features the names of the competitors.

The programme measures approximately 11" x 8.5" and remains in excellent production used condition with only light edge and surface wear, overall very fine.

A highly displayable artefact from this classic sporting drama which requires no introduction.
