Fireman Sam

An original warning sign used in the production of the popular children's television series Fireman Sam.

This prop warning sign was used on screen in Danger Falling Sheep, the first episode of series five which aired in 2003 and was the final series of Sam in his stop motion format before production switched to CGI.

This prop warning sign depicts falling rocks with a large exclamation mark can be seen in Danger Falling Sheep as Woolly the lamb gets in trouble on the mountain side. Constructed from plastic the sign is hand painted and mounted atop as wooden post which still features some faux moss dressing where it was fixed to the set. The hand pained weathering marks clearly screen match the sign seen in these close ups, it was likely later used in further episodes of the series.

The warning sign measures approximately 13" tall and remains in excellent screen used condition, very fine.
