Doctor Who

An original prop used in the production of the long running science fiction television series Doctor Who.

From the 2008 episode The Fires of Pompeii starring David Tennant this is the original control lever used by The Doctor and Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) which triggers the eruption thus eliminating the Pyroviles. The control is constructed largely from MDF which has been carved to add a heavy texture resembling stone and has been dressed with various detailing of resin and a quantity of LED bulbs which are wired to light through the side of the prop. This prop is believed to be unique can be conclusively screen matched as it is seen on screen in extreme close up as The Doctor And Donna place their hands on it.

The control measures 24" at its widest point and stands approximately 22" high, it remains in excellent screen used condition with only minor wear from production use. The LED bulbs housed within the prop remain largely operational when connected to a power source.

A sizable and displayable artefact from the David Tennant era of this cult science fiction series.
