Onedin Line (The)

An original costume used in the production of The Onedin Line, the 1970s BBC drama series created by Cyril Abraham.

This costume was custom made for use by Jessica Benton as Elizabeth Onedin, bespoke made by the BBC Wardrobe Department the fitted Victorian style blouse features blue patterning with faux pearlescent buttons and concealed hook and eye fastenings. To the interior the costume features a type written BBC label with the number 8V0045/1 and is hand inscribed with the letter A in black pen.

The costume remains in excellent vintage production used condition, extremely fine.
