Dune

An original storyboard created during in the production of David Lynch's 1984 film adaptation of Dune, based on the novel by Frank Herbert.

This is an original hand drawn storyboard created during the production, accomplished in artists pencils on paper this finely detailed storyboard depicts the Fremen in combat positions. The storyboard features the scene description 'FREMEN FIRING - MOVING PAST CAMERA', the scene number 'SC277' and annotations relating to effects plates and bluescreen. All the copies of this storyboard which were distributed to various production members would have originated from this hand drawn original.

The storyboard measures 11" x 8.5" and remains in remarkable production used condition, very fine with only minuscule pinholes to the corners.

A fine example of original artwork from this box office flop which later achieved cult status with science fiction fans.
