Doctor Who

An original costume used in the production of the long running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who.

From the 1981 Doctor Who serial The Keeper of Traken this is an original costume worn on screen by Phillip Bloomfield as one of the Fosters. Custom made for the production by the BBC Wardrobe Department the three piece costume comprises of jacket, trousers and waistcoat constructed of heavyweight wool. Both the jacket and trousers feature sewn in labels which are hand inscribed 'P. BLOOMFIELD' with the trousers featuring a further label inscribed 'M. GORDON BROWN'.

The costume remains in good production used condition with some minor discolouration to the shoulder panels on the jacket, otherwise very fine with no moth damage.

A fine example of original costume from the Tom Baker era of this classic science fiction series.
