Devils of Darkness

An original production used script and call sheet from the 1965 British horror movie Devils of Darkness directed by prolific film maker Lance Comfort and starring William Sylvester who would later star in 2001: A Space Odyssey.

This script was the personal copy of noted special effects artist Kit West who has underlined the special effects shots in pen throughout the script for reference, the top right corner of the cover is hand written Kit West S.F.X. The script is dated inside April 1964 and consists of 94 pages bound within a folder of red card and features contact details for art director John Earl hand inscribed to the interior cover. Accompanied by a call sheet for 29 May 1964 and features a list of actors along with all the prop and special effects requirements for that days filming.

Both the script and call sheet are in excellent production used condition with the sheet showing some rusting that has transferred off the pins that bind the script together, otherwise very fine. 

A rare example of an original script from the golden age of British horror.
