Blake's 7

An original prop used in the production of the BBC science fiction television series Blake's 7.

From the 1980 Series 3 episode Volcano this is the original destruct button used on screen by Hower (Michael Gough) in the climactic scenes. Built by the BBC Visual Effects Department the prop is constructed from mixed materials to include a plastic housing dressed with multicoloured wires, metal and perspex this topped by a large button of wood with a metallic red paint finish.

The prop measures approximately 9" long and remains in excellent production used condition with some minor paint loss to the button, otherwise extreamly fine.

A unique and highly displayable artefact from this cult science fiction series.
