Doctor Who

An original concept design used in the production of the long running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who.

From the 1985 serial Revelation of the Daleks starring Colin Baker as The Doctor this is the original concept design for the sonic weapon used by Alexei Sayle as D.J.. Accomplished in pencil on sketch paper this was designed and drawn by BBC Visual Effects Department assistant Robert Thomas and bears a good likeness to the finished prop with some hand inscribed notes suggesting the used of a camera tripod.

The concept measures approximately 16" x 12" and remains in excellent condition, very fine.
