Conan the Barbarian

An original costume used in the production of Conan the Barbarian, the 1982 fantasy picture starring Arnold Schwarzenegger under the direction of John Milius.

Hoods such as this can be seen worn as part of religious attire in various scenes of the movie, custom made for the production the hood is constructed of black cotton and features a decorative pattern of hand cut and applied white leather to the front tails. The wardrobe remains in excellent vintage production used condition with some minor peeling to the leather detail, otherwise fine.

A displayable artefact from this well regarded box office smash which launched the film career of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
