Christine

An original prop used in the production of Christine, the 1983 cult horror picture directed by John Carpenter based on the novel by Stephen King.

This fender spear was used on one of the numerous cars used to portray Christine, the now iconic 1958 Plymouth Fury with a mind of its own. The spear can be seen featured prominently on the front of the vehicle and is constructed from chromed metal and features two threaded locators used to attach it to the car. This part was retrieved from a California scrapyard where the numerous cars were sent following their use in the production, the last image presented here shows one of the original screen used cars at the scrapyard shortly after the release of the film.

The spear measures approximately 16" long and remains in excellent vintage condition exhibiting only minor surface wear, overall fine.

An extremely rare example of original material from this cult classic.
