Charlie Chaplin (Robert Downey Jr.) cane
An original prop used in the production of Chaplin, the 1992 biographical feature starring Robert Downey Jr. under the direction of Richard Attenborough which details the life of screen icon Charlie Chaplin.
The cane was used by Robert Downey Jr. as screen legend Charlie Chaplin and formed part of his now iconic image. Contrary to popular belief the canes were entirely custom fabricated for the production being constructed from moulded resin and painted to simulate bamboo.
The cane measures approximately 33" long and remains in excellent condition with some minor paint wear to the bottom consistent with production use, very fine.
A highly displayable artefact from the production of this Academy Award nominated biopic.
