101 Dalmatians

An original clapperboard used in the production of 101 Dalmatians, the 1996 family comedy starring Glenn Close as Cruella de Vil.

This production used traditional style black wooden clapperboard with hinged clap stick bears the movie title '101 DALMATIANS' in addition to the names of director Steve Herek and director of photographer Adrian Biddle as cameraman. The main unit Panavision branded clapperboard features spaces where the slate and take number could be recorded and retains these marking from the production, an applied tape to the bottom retains the date from its last use during filming. From the collection of cinematographer Adrian Biddle who retained it following the production.

The clapperboard measures approximately 14" x 11.5" and remains in excellent production used condition with expected surface wear from use during filming, overall fine.

An excellent example of the iconic clapperboard from this much loved family comedy.
