Gone with the Wind

An original handbill from the release of Gone with the Wind, the 1939 epic starring Clark Gable and Vivian Leigh under the direction of Victor Fleming.

This vintage original handbill promoting the release of the movie dates to the first release and is for a showing at the famous Carthay Circle Theatre where the Los Angeles premiere was held in December 1939. The handbill is printed on thin paper a features an extensive list of cast and crew credits with theatre details to the top and a local restaurant advertisement to the bottom.

The handbill measures approximately 11.5" x 5.5" and remains in excellent vintage condition, folded to the centre with even toning, extremely fine.

A fine example of original movie paper from the release of this multi Academy Award historical epic which is frequently regarded as one of the greatest pictures in the history of cinema.
