Bob Baker's personal signed contract - The Invisible Enemy
An original contract used in the production of the long running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who.
From the 1977 serial The Invisible Enemy starring Tom Baker as The Doctor this is the original contract sent by the BBC to Pamela Gillis Management in respect of the fee paid to writers Bob Baker and Dave Martin. The document is type written on British Broadcasting Corporation headed paper and is dated 21st January 1977, it features the working title of the episode 'THE INVISIBLE INVADER' and offers a fee of £550.00 per episode, next to this is a pencil annotation adding that the fee was negotiated to £575.00 via telephone. Stapled to this is a yellow commission note from Gillis Management which is type written with the details of the agreement, this is period hand signed by Bob Baker as R.J. Baker in a differing style from later autographs this being a professional document. From the estate of writer Bob Baker.
The document is A4 size and remains in excellent vintage condition having been carefully stored by Baker since the production, very fine.
A rare and interesting example of original production material from this cult television series.
