Bishop's desk communicator
An original communication device used in the production of the 1969 Supermarionation television series The Secret Service created by Gerry & Sylvia Anderson.
This desk communicator was used on screen in multiple episodes by The Bishop voiced by Jeremy Wilkin, a prolific contributor to Anderson productions. The device is constructed from carved and varnished wood with metal faceplate adorned with various button and dial detailing and is seen prominently throughout the series.
The communicator measures approximately 4" x 4" x 1" and is in good screen used condition but lacking some detailing from the front panel.
An incredibly rare example of a principal character associated set piece from this classic Anderson production.
