Gladiator

An original costume used in the production of Gladiator, the 2000 historical epic starring Russell Crowe under the direction of Ridley Scott.

Wardrobe such as this can be seen worn by the various gladiators during the memorable Battle of Carthage sequence. Comprising of a primitive sleeveless tunic of blue material with a heavyweight armour of genuine chain mail construction with a leather section featuring three fastenings to the chest. Both costume pieces remain in excellent production used condition with some intentional distressing present, generally fine.

A recognisable and displayable example of original wardrobe from this multi Academy Award winning masterpiece and modern day classic.
