Battle of Britain

Original headed paper from the production of Battle of Britain, the classic 1969 war film directed by Guy Hamilton and Harry Saltzman who had previously collaborated on James Bond.

This headed paper was created for office use during the production, the header features the instantly recognisable Spitfire logo and is titled 'THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN' (THE was subsequently dropped from the title) with a footer consisting of the United Artists logo and 'SPITFIRE PRODUCTIONS LTD' followed by their London address.

The paper is in near perfect unused condition and is foolscap size measuring 13" x 8" which was standard at the time of production.
