Batman & Robin

An original pair of gloves used in the production of Batman & Robin, the 1997 superhero picture directed by Joel Schumacher.

These gloves formed part of the iconic costume worn by George Clooney as Batman. Constructed from painted leather with a fin detail of dense rubber the gloves feature a zip to the wrist with one hand inscribed to the interior 'CLOONEY 3' and both inscribed 'AD3' in silver pen, likely for stunt coordinator Alex Daniels.

The gloves measure an impressive 19" in length and remain in excellent condition with minor wear consistent with use during the production, overall fine.

A rare and highly displayable example of principal character wardrobe from this classic superhero franchise.
