Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth

An original prop barbed wire used in the production of the 1992 movie Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth, the third instalment in the Hellraiser film franchise.

This prop barbed wire was used in the scene where bartender Rick (Peter Atkins) is turned into the Barbie Cenobite by Pinhead in the Boiler Room slaughter. Created by Image Animation effects the faux wire is constructed from rope which has been painted with silver latex resulting is a safe imitation wire which could be wrapped around Atkins' face, to achieve the transformation the shot was filmed in reverse by removing the wire rather that wrapping it around his head which would have been more technically difficult..

The wire measures approximately 70" in length and remains in good production used condition.
