Baird School costume patch
An original patch used in the production of Scent of a Woman, the 1992 drama starring Al Pacino and Chris O'Donnell under the direction of Martin Brest.
Baird School patches such as this can be seen on the blazers of various students most notably in the memorable scene where Frank Slade (Al Pacino) delivers his passionate speech at Charlie's (Chris O'Donnell) hearing in front of the disciplinary committee. The patch is constructed from material and features the Baird School coat of arms, the name of the school and the date 1843.
The patch measures approximately 2.25" x 3.5" and remains in excellent production used condition with some residue to the verso where it was affixed to the blazer, very fine.
A extremely rare artefact from this highly regarded picture which saw Al Pacino win the Academy Award for Best Actor.
