Doctor Who

An original prop used in the production of the long running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who.

From the 2005 series opener Rose starring Christopher Eccleston as The Doctor this is an original Auton mask as seen throughout the episode. Custom made for the production by Millennium FX the mask is moulded in rubber and features a slit to the rear to aid usability with holes for the eyes and nose, to the exterior neck the mask is hand inscribed '17 ELIZABETH' for Elizabeth Fost, this has been written over with 'ELLEN' who obviously used this mask at a later date, additionally hand inscribed with the number 17 several times to the interior.

The mask measures approximately 16" high and remains in very good production used condition with some paint wear to the face, otherwise fine.

An instantly recognisable and highly displayable artefact from this cult science fiction series.
