UFO

An original script used in the production of UFO, the 1970 science fiction series created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson.

This original production used script for the episode Ordeal broadcast in April 1971 comprises of 61 pages bound between front and rear covers of orange card with the front featuring the series logo and additionally hand inscribed with the date 25/7/69. This very early draft of the script features numerous character differences to the finished episode most notably in this version the character Col. Foster is called John Karlin and Joe Franklin is named Joe Kazan, other character names also differ, these are listed on an additional cast page to the font of the script which is followed by a set list.

The script remains in excellent production used and vintage condition exhibiting minor edge wear from handling and a small stain to the top rear cover, generally very fine.

An extremely rare and interesting example of original production material from this classic Anderson series.
