Red Dwarf

An original badge used in the production of the BBC science fiction comedy series Red Dwarf.

This badge was worn by Chris Barrie as Arnold Rimmer in Holoship, the first episode of series V in which Rimmer attempts to join the ranks of a Holoship named Enlightenment after falling in love with one of its crew members and enjoying the regulation imposed benefits that come with it.

Clearly worn on screen on Rimmer's Holoship uniform aboard the Enlightenment, created by the BBC Wardrobe Department and constructed from resin and perspex with a holographic centre section and pin affixed to the rear.

The badge measures 3.25" x 2.75" at its widest points and remains in excellent condition with some rubbing to the lettering.

A rare and displayable principal character artefact from this cult television series.
