Doctor Who

An original pair of gloves used in the long running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who.

These gloves formed part of the costumes worn by the Argolian people in the 1980 serial The Leisure Hive starring Tom Baker as The Doctor. The gloves were constructed by the BBC Costume Department from a concept by noted Doctor Who costume designer June Hudson and worn by one of the Argolian people. They feature pinched detailing to the back of the hand and fasten by means of a button to the wrist.

The gloves remain in excellent condition throughout with only light wear from studio use.
